That lens could also knock several other gimbals out of the running. With a maximum payload of 9lbs (4.2kg), the Moza Air 2 may be a better fit, with less strain on the motors. The payload is a minimum of 0.66 lbs (0.30kg), and a maximum: 7.05 lbs (3.20kg). The Aircross 2 has creative modes such as time-lapse, inception mode, sport gear mode and multiple follow modes in different scenes.Īlthough the Moza Aircross 2 is nice (the ability to control 2 Ifocus M motors is cool), I would question how easily it could handle a large lens like the Sigma 18-35 Art (weight with a metabones 0.71 focal reducer - 983g, 2.17 lbs.). Yes I am holding crane 3 lab right now in my lab. So the camera lense can't hit the gimbal arms. Normally when the tilt arm motor is on the right side the excluded 90 degrees is located in the upper back part of the rotation ~95-185 degrees. As the excluded 90 degrees now is located at the bottom part of the rotation, ~320-70 degrees (0/360 rotation point in the bottom when the gimbal is on a stand) With the crane 3 lab, the pictures you included, this means the tilt arm will not go down more than what the picture is showing if the tilt motor was on the left side. To reduce the overall weight, Ronin-SCs balance dimensions are limited some cameras do not support Flashlight. Because you need to rotate the tilt axis aswell 180 degrees, or the camera attachment point would be upside down on the very top of the rotation. BMPCC 6K + Ronin-SC Compatibility result. By rotating the roll axis to move the tilt motor to left side, you also move the exluded portion. ![]() The tilt arm rotation has a stop in it (excluding 90 degrees), it rotates only 270 degrees. ![]()
